European Championships a GREAT success

Opening ceremony of WAKO - European Championships Maribor 2016 with 40 participating countries, 523 competitors and many important guests from international sports establishment: Opened by Acting president, Roy Baker, Mr.Janez Kocijančič, European Olympic Committee acting President, Mr. Bogdan Gabrovec, President of the National Olympic Committee of Slovenia, Mr. Fištravec Andrej, the Mayor of Maribor and Mr. Dejan Zavec, boxing legend. The Opening ceremony of the Championships was the great opportunity for the meetings with WAKO IF President, Mr. Borislav Pelevic and Mr. Roy Baker, WAKO Acting Europe President.

International World Games Association Eliminations The top four competitors from Europe in K1 rules in weight classes. Male 63.5kg - 67kg - 71kg - 75kg - 81kg - 86kg - 91kg + 91kg Female -52kg - 56kg - 60kg - 65kg will represent WAKO in July at our first inclusion in IWGA. We are sure Europe will show its quality and strength again in the world of Kickboxing.
