Meeting of the WAKO Board of directors

On 29th April WAKO Board of directors had a meeting in Vienna, Austria, where the strategic directions of the organization were discussed. It was in live/online format, with two days of discussions and presentations which were about how to position our sport on the best way in the global sport market. The presenters were, beside the WAKO President Roy Baker, WAKO Vice president Espen Lund and WAKO legal adviser and the Board member Francesca Falsoni. The second day of the meeting there was live connecting via ZOOM platform of the WAKO Gamechangers, 15 young people selected for the program of building future leaders of our sport. They have introduced Board members about the program and activities so far and plans for the future. Many decisions has been delivered and the focus in the next period is on upcoming championships.
