WAKO Africa Continental Kickboxing Open Cup

Dear Presidents, General Secretaries, and Members of the WAKO Africa Family,

I trust that you are all well.

It is my great pleasure, on behalf of WAKO Africa, to formally invite your National Federation to participate in the WAKO Africa Continental Kickboxing Open Cup, which will be held in Cairo, Egypt, from 2–7 December 2026.

This championship is of historic significance as it has been designated as the Official Qualification Event for the African Games Egypt 2027, where athletes will earn qualification places to represent their respective nations at the African Games. The attached invitation package contains all the essential information relating to the event, including the competition programme, qualification categories, accommodation, transportation, registration procedures, visa requirements, and official entry forms.

We encourage all National Federations to begin their preparations as early as possible and to ensure that all registration requirements and deadlines are met. This event represents an important milestone for African kickboxing and provides an exceptional opportunity for our athletes to compete at the highest continental level while qualifying for the African Games 2027.

We look forward to welcoming your delegation to Cairo for what promises to be an outstanding championship that will showcase the unity, excellence, and continued growth of kickboxing across Africa.
