Since taking over WAKO Pro GB at the beginning of this year Master Cris Janson-Piers of Nottinghamshire England has produced some terrific top level fight matching, including new challenges and title defences. He vowed to Mr Falsoni that he would regenerate the WAKO Pro scene in the UK and that has happened. Not only this there are many title fights including International bouts now arranged, bringing some fighters from the other side of the World to fight in England. The new challenges provided successful defences on every occasion and this in itself has proven that we have good champions who are dedicated and want to continue to prove their worth. Cris is now working on placing all these fighters for their next step up on the ladder which is at least at European level. Also he is wanting to create a brand new working and training relationship with any International contact and welcomes any of the WAKO coaches to contact him personally for training courses, competition’s/shows or seminar’s. As an introduction and a way of interesting International challenge’s here are a handful of our champions wanting fight matches. If anymore come forward and express an interest then we will inform you further. Shawn Burton Light Welterweight just defended 13th October 2007 Ryan Hamer Welterweight just defended 13th October 2007 Chris Deakin Super Welterweight defended 15th Sept Lisa Higo Bantamweight Winner 28th July 2007 Marlon Hunt Cruiserweight just coming back into training after injury.
