At the African Cup all participants in the Development Seminar will have the opportunity to put their newly acquired knowledge into practice. The African Cup is a ranking tournament and is an opportunity for gold and silver medalists in their categories to earn valuable points for the WAKO Ranking List.   Both events are open to all national federations from Africa, neighbouring Arab countries, as well as all other WAKO National Federations. We urge all participants to adhere to the deadlines for application and registration, as well as for booking accommodation and obtaining visas. 🏆 Official Results Released: 30th Hungarian Kickboxing World Cup 2025🏆 WAKO is proud to announce the official release of the results report  for the Hungarian Kickboxing World Cup 2025 , held in Budapest from June 13–15. This year marked the 30th edition of one of WAKO’s most prestigious and long-standing international tournaments — welcoming elite competitors, national teams, and clubs from around the globe. Over the course of three action-packed days, we witnessed world-class performances across all major disciplines, from Tatami to Ring sports.

Inspiring Para-Kickboxing Demonstration Shines at WAKO World Cup Turkish Open Antalya, Türkiye  – On the final day of the WAKO World Cup Turkish Open, the spotlight turned to a Para-Kickboxing demonstration  that captured the hearts of everyone present. Three young athletes, each with their own story of resilience and strength, took to the tatami in a special showcase. Two boys, Omer El Kars and Kusay lbrahim from Syria and Bertug Umut Ozdemir from Türkiye delivered   presentations, performing combat movements which were a testament to the spirit of inclusion, and unity. This demonstration was more than an exhibition — it was a statement. A reminder that kickboxing is a sport for all , and that the values of perseverance, passion, and discipline  know no boundaries. Their presence symbolized  the ongoing commitment of WAKO to promote accessibility and equal opportunities in kickboxing. Each of the young para-kickboxers received a well-deserved medal, handed out by WAKO Vice President Salim Kayici. The performance served as a highlight of the tournament’s final day and as a powerful closing note for the World Cup.
